Pollard and Mensa G Early Leaders At Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, Presented by Land Rover

Lexington, Ky., April 24, 2014 -  Michael Pollard grabbed the early lead on the first day of dressage at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, presented by Land Rover, scoring 49.5 penalties on Mensa G.   That score just eclipsed the score of 49.8 penalties earned by Will Faudree on Pawlow.

KL Select’s mandate is to feature ‘only the best’, and in line with that philosophy, they now offer the Flexi Protective Vest, nicknamed the “bodyguard”, one of the newest developments from USG (United Sportsproducts Germany). Dorothea Carters, Managing Partner at KL Select, remarked that when researching body protectors, “We were appalled that many of the safety vests on the market today are not ASTM approved or tested, and to avoid that costly testing are marketed as ‘vests’ – which is misleading to the American rider”.

Name: Aisling Carroll Year in school: Freshman Major: biology Hometown: Louisville, KY Horse Name: Fluff Breed: Thoroughbred Age: 9 Level: preliminary Where do you keep your horse/Train with?: I train with Deborah Iezzi in KY and consider her my main trainer.  I work with Pippa Moon while I am at school and also ride with Jan Byyny as much as I can.   How did you start riding?:  My parents train race horses so I have been around horses starting from a very early age.  They signed me up for proper riding lessons when I was very young, and I have been doing it ever since. Biggest riding accomplishment?: Winning my first CIC* last summer.
