by Marti Hohmann, CPDT-KA ( www.palmbeachdogtraining.com ) Chance is an 8-week-old male Domestic Short-hair kitten. He is cute and just came back from foster care. Chance loves everyone he meets and enjoys hanging out with his best friend Snipe, a 10-week-old kitten who also needs a home. As if adopting a great kitten isn’t enough, the adoption fee for all cats and kittens is FREE through election day! Please ask for ID#1624011. Mia is a 2-year-old spayed female Boxer mix.  She is a big, beautiful girl with lots of love and energy to share!  Mia gets along well with other dogs, however she likes to be queen of the household.  She is looking for an active home without any other pets or one with another dog who won’t mind her being the boss.  Her adoption fee is only $20 this month and includes a free at-home training session with a professional trainer.  Please ask for ID#1422955. I lived in Asheville, North Carolina – not far away – and I met Holly in Tryon for dinner and interviewed her for a story. We became friends and after she moved to California, she checked in with me to see if I needed a writer on that side of the country

Wednesday, October 17 2012 by Editor
October 17, 2012   Even though he has the most generic dog name in the entire world, Spot (0994496) , an 8-year-old neutered papillon mix, is nothing but unique. He is 8 years old, but he acts just like a big puppy. You should see this tiny dog pulling staff through the halls of the shelter! Spot loves exploring new places and meeting new people
