Buffalo, NY – January 23, 2014 -  Four years ago, the Buffalo Equestrian Center (BEC) conceptualized a program congruent with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA). This program has opened doors for riders unable to afford the equestrian sport, or with little access to horses, while promoting the educational aspect of teaching horsemanship and team camaraderie. When There is Only Hope and Horses, Part 1

As Sidelines’ newest writer, I will have a monthly column about the equestrian world from a novice amateur’s point of view featured in Sidelines’ digital magazine as well as my blog, where I’ll write about my adventures and experiences even more often.  The following is the first half of my story about my life and love of horses.    From a very young age, all I wanted to do was ride horses.
