Lauren Tyree Wins First Sidelines Cooler at WEF!

All photos by Bill Tatgenhorst The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival, known as WEF, is underway! Twelve action-packed weeks filled with showing, shopping, sun and fun for thousands of horses and riders has started and is off to a rip-roaring start. Sidelines Magazine is proud to be sponsoring the 2013 ASPCA Maclay, and each weekend we will be giving away a gorgeous cooler to the winner that says “Sidelines – For Horse People About Horse People.” This weekend, Lauren Tyree, who rides with Missy Clark at North Run, took home the first Sidelines cooler thanks to her win on Wrigley.

Wellington, FL – January 10, 2013 -Brazil’s Rodrigo Pessoa and HH Let’s Fly galloped to victory in the $30,000 Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge Cup Round 1 on the second day of competition at the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF) on Thursday. After kicking the year off with a second place finish in last weekend’s inaugural $100,000 Trump Invitational Grand Prix, the duo is off to the races with a win to start their winter circuit.

Meet the stunning 4 year old, 16.1hh Thoroughbred gelding “Kitten’s Kid” now available for adoption from our Lexington, Kentucky facility! Kitten’s Kid is a stunning chestnut gelding by Kitten’s Joy and out of a Lemon Drop Kid dam. He is incredibly sweet, easy-going, and a dream to handle. Kitten gets along very well with others and is currently turned out with four other geldings in a large field all day.

The prize package is getting better and better!! Originally the winner (and their guest or parent if the winner is under 18) was going to have the opportunity to enjoy one amazing dinner in the VIP tent – now they get three meals in the VIP tent – and that’s $200 per person per meal – YUM!! This exclusive showing vacation is a three-day weekend package during the 11 th week of FTI WEF, March 22-24, 2013. The prize package has a value of between $4,000 and $5,000. Any age can enter!
