Thoroughbred, “Bandon Dunes” is just one example of many successful adoptions through New Vocations Adoption Program. After getting a second chance, his current owner Catherine Ford of Cohutta, GA sent an email giving an update on her new equine. ”Bandon is doing great! Now that the wet weather has started to lighten up a little, and daylight savings gives us hours at the end of the day to train, he and I are putting in a lot of miles together.

Kitten’s Kid is a stunning chestnut gelding by Kitten’s Joy and out of a Lemon Drop Kid dam. He is incredibly sweet, easy-going, and a dream to handle. Kitten gets along very well with others and is currently turned out with four other geldings in a large field all day.

He has all the components that when patiently nurtured will produce a champion. Bloodlines include: Northern Dancer, Secretariat, Halo and the one he reminds us most of Terlingua. This good boy has a great body to grow into at which point he could use it in dressage, eventing or hunter/jumpers.
