Since the semester has officially come to a close many of our members have returned back home. Home for many of our riders are in other states like Massachusetts, Colorado, Maryland and New Jersey! We will miss them but hope they have a great summer with their horses. Since the end of the semester we have officially announced our new officers of the team
The famous Hickstead bank I recently traveled to England on a horse shopping excursion to find some equine prospects to bring back home to the United States. We bisected the entire country in 4 days and rode about 65 horses (but who’s counting). One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the world renowned Hickstead horse show grounds and the home of the biggest equine bank jump in the world

It is a sad but exciting time of year. The school year is officially ending! It has been the best school year yet for the USC Aiken Eventing team.
If you work around horses long enough, an emergency will arise. Being able to remain calm and think clearly during an emergency involving a horse is an important skill to have.
