Atherton, California, July 14, 2013: The Menlo Charity Horse Show benefiting Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is pleased to announce its 43rd annual show, August 6-11, at the elegant Menlo Circus Club in Atherton. The show, popularly lauded as one of “The Best in North America,” attracts over 650 Northern California, national and international exhibitors. Children, adults, amateur, professional and Olympian equestrians compete often side-by-side.

Bromont, Quebec – July 28, 2013 – The International Bromont ended this Sunday July 28th with Irishman Andrew Bourns’ stunning victory in the Quebec Original World Cup qualifying event, at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park. Lexington, KY – July 27, 2013 - Running in conjunction with today’s competition at the Kentucky Summer Horse Show is the Kentucky Horse Park’s Hat’s Off Day, a special celebration of the horse and it’s impact on the state of Kentucky. Sarah Sturges had extra reason to celebrate, as she and her horse One Shot dominated the Amateur-Owner 3’6″ Hunters, winning the division championship. Sturges and One Shot earned back-to-back blue ribbons over fences yesterday, and this morning they added a blue ribbon in the first class and a second place ribbon in the handy class to their collection, guaranteeing the division’s top tricolor award

National entries soar at Hickstead

Organisers at the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead have reported record numbers of entries for its two flagship shows – the British Jumping Derby Meeting in June and the Longines Royal International Horse Show (30 July – 4 August). All of the classes in all of the rings for next week’s show are already full

Wayne, IL – July 25, 2013 - Accuracy was key for Brittini Raflowitz and Elios this afternoon during the $5,000 GGT Footing Welcome Stake at Equifest I. The pair out jumped all fellow contenders as the only ones to post a double-clear effort, eventually leading the victory gallop in the Lamplight Equestrian Center’s Grand Prix Ring. David Dorner and Barack captured the second place award, and he also guided Casino to the third place position

Professional Hunters Top Leader Board on First Day of Kentucky Summer Horse Show

Lexington, KY – July 24, 2013 - Beautiful, sunny skies, inviting hunter courses and top levels of competition greeted riders at the Kentucky Horse Park for the first day of the Kentucky Summer Horse Show. The Green Hunters kicked off the competition in the Stonelea Ring, where Colleen Acosta and Kelley Farmer each earned blue ribbons, while Molley Sewell dominated the Green Conformation Hunters. Shawn Casady and Ascot wrapped up the day with wins in the High Performance Hunters, while Kelly Mullen and Donato scored top calls in the Performance 3’6″ Hunter division

Parker, CO – July 25, 2013 - The crown jewel of the Summer in the Rockies six-week series, the $50,000 Parker Adventist Hospital Grand Prix, was held on Saturday afternoon of Week VI. It was Military Day at the Colorado Horse Park, honoring and welcoming military and first responders to enjoy family activities and great show jumping. Title sponsor Parker Adventist Hospital was on hand for helmet fittings and distribution of free riding helmets to children as part of their Equestrian Safety Program.
