Frances Land and Vieanne Blaze to Victory in $33,000 Pepsi Challenge 1.45m SPRUCE MEADOWS, Calgary, AB):  The ‘North American’ Tournament continued today, and it was Reed Kessler (USA) and Wolf S who took the highlight victory of the day in the $50,000 Lafarge Cup 1.50m over Lauren Tisbo (USA) with Catharina 9. Frances Land (USA) and Vieanne were very fast to win the $33,000 Pepsi Challenge 1.45m as the first ones in the jump-off.

Michael Hughes Sweeps 1.30m Classes Lake Placid, New York—July 3, 2013—Laura Chapot and Mario Deslauriers won the two sections of the Janney Montgomery Scott 1.35 meter classes, the featured events Wednesday at the 36 th  annual I Love New York Horse Show, Presented by Sea Shore Stables, LLC.   Laura Chapot after winning the Janney Montgomery Scott 1.35m class (c) The Book LLC In  the two sections of the WPTZ News Channel 5 1.30 meter classes, Michael Hughes of Allendale, NJ swept top honors.  The horse show continues through Sunday at the North Elba Showgrounds in Lake Placid.

Top Dogs Take Center Stage at The 2013 Lake Placid Horse Shows!

    The 21st Annual Doggie Costume Contest Sponsored by  The Brown Dog Deli & Wine Bar &  Animal Planet will take place on  Saturday, July 6th at noon. Dress your dog up in costume and be part of the fun in the special ring set up near the horse show’s Richard M. Feldman Grand Prix Field.    Awards, including the Lulu Perpetual Trophy for the funniest costume, are presented to the “top dogs.”    There is no entry fee and every dog gets prizes.
