World Dressage Masters Horse and Rider Competitors Announced

Wellington, FL-January 8, 2013 -The line-up for the World Dressage Masters (WDM) Palm Beach, presented by Wellington Classic Dressage, will feature a star-studded cast of riders and horses for the January 23-27 event at the Palm Beach County Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. The riders confirmed their participation and the horses are arriving in Florida to compete head-to-head for their share of over €100,000 (EUR), or about $131,850 (USD), in prize money. The World Dressage Masters series, presented by the Axel Johnson Group featured over €450,000 (EUR) in prize money over their 2012 series, making it one of the richest dressage series in the world. Wellington, FL – January 8, 2013 -Equestrian Sport Productions hosted its A-T Children’s Benefit Horse Show on January 3-6, 2013, at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL, with a full schedule of hunter/jumper competition. The week featured a $25,000 Grand Prix and $10,000 Welcome Stake along with hunter, jumper and equitation divisions throughout the week.

At New Vocations we are constantly looking for ways we can help more horses. It’s an ongoing drive that is part of our team’s culture. In order to take in more horses each year two things have to happen. We have to raise more funds and we have to find more homes.

Introducing 7 year old, 16.1hh Thoroughbred gelding “Hey Byrn” now available for adoption from our Lexington, KY facility! Check out his profile! Hey Byrn is a 7 yr old gelding who has faced his share of highs and lows. As a 3yr old, he was busy winning the Grade 2 Holy Bull Stakes and running 7 th among the elite of his crop in the Grade 1 Preakness. A couple years later, as a 6yr old, he found himself running for $5k claiming in Delaware with an ankle that was nearly imploding.
