This year’s show, held for the fourth year in a row at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, featured: Amateur Owner, Professional and Junior Hunter classes from Tuesday through Saturday; a three-phase $15,000 Under 25 Grand Prix competition sponsored by Sleepy P Ranch and Deeridge Farm; an in-costume $45,000 Chansonette Farm Gambler’s Choice class on Halloween (Friday); the $250,000 Canadian Pacific Grand Prix on Saturday, and the ASPCA Maclay Medal Equitation Finals on Sunday. The show was founded in 1883 by a group of affluent businessmen.
