Team USA Rally Falls Short, England Retains Westchester Cup For Third Consecutive Game

WELLINGTON, FL-July 30, 2013 —In a thrilling sudden death overtime match, Team USA’s rally fell short of returning the Westchester Cup to American soil. Trailing England by two goals with less than two minutes remaining in regulation time, Wellington’s Nic Roldan and Mike Azzaro scored goals to tie the game at 11-11 and send it into overtime. After a missed Team USA scoring opportunity early in overtime, John Paul Clarkin scored the winning goal for a 12-11 victory at Windsor Great Park’s Guards Polo Club in England.

Bromont, Quebec – July 28, 2013 – The International Bromont ended this Sunday July 28th with Irishman Andrew Bourns’ stunning victory in the Quebec Original World Cup qualifying event, at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park. Lexington, KY – July 27, 2013 - Running in conjunction with today’s competition at the Kentucky Summer Horse Show is the Kentucky Horse Park’s Hat’s Off Day, a special celebration of the horse and it’s impact on the state of Kentucky. Sarah Sturges had extra reason to celebrate, as she and her horse One Shot dominated the Amateur-Owner 3’6″ Hunters, winning the division championship. Sturges and One Shot earned back-to-back blue ribbons over fences yesterday, and this morning they added a blue ribbon in the first class and a second place ribbon in the handy class to their collection, guaranteeing the division’s top tricolor award

Wayne, IL – July 26, 2013 - It was a day to remember for Molly Mcadow as she laid down the winning rounds during the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. The Lamplight Equestrian Center was packed with exhibitors and spectators for the third day of Equifest I, and although the skies were gray and torrents of rain poured down from above, the derby contenders were not deterred.

Jill Knowles and Molly Sewell Earn Kentucky Summer Horse Show Championships

Lexington, KY – July 25, 2013 - In English the phrase “c’est si bon” translates to “it’s so good.” It’s a fitting name for a horse who’s Performance 3’6″ Hunter rounds today at the Kentucky Summer Horse Show were ‘so good.’ Jill Knowles and C’est Si Bon claimed the blue ribbon in the Performance 3’6″ Handy Hunter class and the division championship today, the second day of the ‘AA’ rated show running now through July 28, 2013 at the Kentucky Horse Park. In the Green Conformation Hunters it was Molly Sewell and Satisfaction who took the top honors, while Shawn Casady and Ascot swept all five classes of the High Performance Hunters to claim the division title
