Please Vote for Sidelines…So I Can Thank the Academy (And All Of Our Friends!)

Wednesday, January 16 2013 by Editor
By Jan Westmark-Allan Vote for Sidelines in Category 8 I spend an inordinate amount of time on the Sidelines  Magazine Facebook page, not to mention the website and blogs. So when Sidelines was named a finalist in the Equestrian Social Media Awards, I let out a big cheer!! All that work – and we have been recognized!! I immediately thought about all the acceptance speeches you hear at the Academy Awards and other awards shows…”I’d like to thank the Academy…” (I do have interns that help me with the Facebook page and website – including April Leonard, Mindy Cortez and Christina Alex – thank you, thank you!!) And of course Bill Tatgenhorst at Sidelines, my website sidekick!! I would certainly like to thank all of the Sidelines “friends” who keep our Facebook page active and also those who read our blogs and visit our website. Now I have one more thing to ask our “friends” – to click on the link for the Equestrian Social Media Awards and vote for us

Happy New Year!

Monday, January 14 2013 by Editor
I can’t believe another year has come and gone. My parents always used to tell me that the older you get, the faster time moves. I never believed them, but I certainly do now! I always love the beginning of a new year, and the opportunity for a fresh start
