Emerging Athletes Program Deadline Alert

April 4, 2014   Lexington, KY – The application deadline for three June 2014 Emerging Athletes Program  Regional Training Sessions  is  midnight of Monday, April 21 . The intensive 4 1/2 day training sessions will be taught by some of the sport’s most respected  clinicians and stable managers . Riders, competition age 20 and under, interested in participating in the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program, presented by  Dover Saddlery , must submit the  EAP Application  and required documents to USHJA no later than the respective deadline.

Getting involved in Lexington’s equine community, even without a horse of my own

This weekend from the beach in Florida, I finally had a few moments to reflect on everything that’s taken place since our move back to Lexington. And I’ve realized that even without a horse of my own, I’ve had a lot of great opportunities to get involved in Lexington’s equine community.  I would encourage other hopeful amateurs that may also happen to be horseless at the moment to find ways to get involved in their local equine community.

Renowned Equestrian Judy Garofalo-Torres Will Be Honored with Much Deserved Humanitarian Award at Second Annual TBDA Gala   NEW YORK (March XX, 2014) – The Tick-Borne Disease Alliance (TBDA), one of the country’s most authoritative voices on Lyme disease, is pleased to announce that this year’s Humanitarian Honoree will be awarded to Judy Garofalo-Torres, international Grand-Prix show jumping rider and member of the United States Equestrian Team.
