Therein Lies a TAILRx

Friday, March 15 2013 by Editor
Bernardston, MA (March 11, 2013) – ‘Educated horses’ were the rage of the horse age a century ago. Cunningly trained to cues as subtle as a magician’s sleight of hand, horses like Colonel Fred, the ‘horse with the human brain,” appeared to calculate math, spell, and play a tune on pendulum-like chimes

Halliday claims emotional CIC* victory in Barroca

Thursday, March 07 2013 by Editor
Liz Halliday made the perfect start to her international 3-Day Eventing season at Barroca d’Alva in Portugal last weekend by winning the CIC* International with Blackie (Fernhill By Night).   The event was marred by sadness however when experienced fellow rider Bruno Bouvier suffered a fatal accident when his horse had a rotational fall during Saturday’s CIC** Cross Country. Liz had known and competed against Bruno for many years and the following day dedicated her victory to a respected and much-loved member of the international eventing community.
