The Hopeful Amateur Hits the Big Times at Rolex Kentucky!
Friday, April 25 2014

Wow! Who ever would have thought little old me would find myself the middle of so much Rolex excitement! In my wildest dreams, I wouldn’t have imagined that I would be sitting here, writing this blog, from the official media center of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Land Rover . And when I’m not in the media center (or walking through the trade fair trying not to even look at anything), I enjoy watching the action from the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation tent. Or I’m attending the competitor’s party, rubbing elbows some of the best riders in the world

Here are some great tips to make it so that anyone can give your horse the care he deserves

Storing Blankets Properly
Wednesday, April 02 2014
by Editor
As we finally emerge from winter and head into spring, you can focus your efforts on spring cleaning and readying the barn for your show season. Since you will not need your horse’s winter blankets again until the late fall, it is best to clean them and store them away to give yourself added space in the barn and to keep them protected until they are needed again. Make sure that you store your blankets properly, though – otherwise you might find a damaged or smelly blanket come fall
