After years in the police force, Olivia Adams helps to change and enrich the lives of abused women and children. Olivia Adams – Horse Synergy Box Farm Sticklynch Somerset BA6 8NA Equine Facilitated Therapy I am writing as a private individual who is driven by the need to help victims of emotional and physical abuse. I was previously a Policewoman and specialised in working with victims of abuse therefore witnessing the damage done to both women and children. After my time in the force I was driven to pursue a path that would enable me to help survivors, and set up Horse Synergy. I love to work and help the victims who come to me and aim to help in any way I can. I will explain exactly what it is that I do.

Lexington, KY – July 24, 2013 - Beautiful, sunny skies, inviting hunter courses and top levels of competition greeted riders at the Kentucky Horse Park for the first day of the Kentucky Summer Horse Show. The Green Hunters kicked off the competition in the Stonelea Ring, where Colleen Acosta and Kelley Farmer each earned blue ribbons, while Molley Sewell dominated the Green Conformation Hunters. Shawn Casady and Ascot wrapped up the day with wins in the High Performance Hunters, while Kelly Mullen and Donato scored top calls in the Performance 3’6″ Hunter division

Ventilation is important for every barn, for the health and comfort of the horses. In areas which are very warm during the summer, many people prefer to have either bars or mesh in the bottom portions of their doors.

Beverley Widdowson named FEI Owner of the Year for second year running

Beverley Widdowson (GBR), owner of the 10-year-old bay stallion Big Star ridden by Olympic team gold medallist Nick Skelton, has been awarded the prestigious title of FEI Owner of the Year for the second year running by the FEI and the Jumping Owners Club. A year ago, Beverley Widdowson picked up the coveted owner’s prize with her 12-year-old grey gelding Carlo 273, ridden by Nick Skelton to double bronze at the FEI European Jumping Championships 2011 in Madrid (ESP), and which is now the new top horse of Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP). “To win this award for the second year running is an incredible feeling, and is testament to all the hard work of everyone on the team involved in the success of Big Star – I am over the moon,” said Beverley Widdowson.

Parker, CO – July 18, 2013 - Hannah Holik is moving up the ranks in the jumpers and showing that she is capable of dominant performances in the hunter ring as well. She and Czech Mate LLC’s Dahlila notched two wins on Wednesday and placed well on Thursday to secure the championship in the 3’6″ Performance Working Hunters, with Ashley Keeler and Emma Willsky’s Simply Said taking the reserve.
