USA EQUESTRIAN TRUST AWARDS NEARLY $210,000 IN FIRST ROUND OF 2013 GRANTS

Deadline for Second Round is October 7 July 17, 2013 — Lexington, KY — USA Equestrian Trust has awarded nearly $210,000 in grants for 10 projects submitted by equine non-profits during the first of the foundation’s two 2013 application periods. The deadline for the Trust’s second grant application period is October 7. Equine non-profits interested in applying for a grant can do so by using the Trust’s online application form at www.trusthorses.org .

Lake Placid, New York—June 26, 2013—Laura Chapot of Neshanic Station, NJ and Johnathan Corrigan of Oyster Bay, NY won the two sections of the Hollow Brook Wealth Management 1.35m jump-off classes, Wednesday’s main events at the 44 th annual Lake Placid Horse Show, Presented by Sea Shore Stables, LLC. The horse show continues through Sunday at the North Elba Showgrounds before giving way to the 36 th annual I Love New York Horse Show, July 2-7.

Parker, CO – June 18, 2013 - Top-notch horses and riders gathered at the Colorado Horse Park for Summer in the Rockies II, a week of hunter/jumper competition set against the beautiful backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Riders enjoyed sunny skies and warm weather throughout the week, and spectators lined the grass bleachers and VIP area of the Kathy and Brad Coors Family Grand Prix Arena for Saturday’s Summer in the Rockies II $30,000 Grand Prix, presented by LittletonEquineMedicalCenter and Platinum Performance. During the late afternoon event, 20 horse and rider pairs tried their hand at Danny Foster’s grand prix course.

Amateur Susan Griffis Edges Out Pearce for Second Place Parker, CO – June 11, 2013 - The Kathy and Brad Coors Family Grand Prix Arena was christened on the first week of the Colorado Horse Park’s Summer in the Rockies in a ceremony during the $30,000 Kathy and Brad Coors Family Grand Prix. A field of 12 horse and rider combinations accepted the challenge of Hector Loyola’s technical track, but it was Canadian John Pearce who expertly navigated the jump-off round, besting the rest with long-time partner Chianto, owned by Forest View Farm and Allison Moore .
