Wellington, FL – January 24, 2013 – The 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) began this week with the National Opener Show on January 22-23. Dressage riders from all levels turned out to compete and get experience in the main Global Arena. The judge for the show was Margaret Freeman

College Preparatory Invitational Awards $8,000 in Scholarships at Third Annual Show

Wellington, FL – January 22, 2013 – The College Preparatory Invitational (CPI) hosted its third year of competition this weekend at the nationally renown Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL. Over 150 riders from across the country participated in four (4) levels of hunt seat competition, along with three (3) levels of dressage.

Wellington , FL - January 17, 2013 - The second session of the 11-week $175,000 Invitational Grand Prix Series at the Ridge at Wellington takes place on Friday, January 18, 2013. The 1.40m Grand Prix is the highlight of the season for Level 2 Jumpers, with $15,000 offered in prize money each Friday throughout the series.

The College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show (CPI) will hold its third annual competition January 18-20, 2013 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL and we need your help to bring on another one-of-a kind experience to student riders. To fulfill the dreams of the students, CPI is reaching out to individuals and corporations willing to donate funds to help provide student riders the opportunity to showcase their horsemanship and riding talents to top recruiters while trying to earn CPI scholarships. Wellington, FL – December 23, 2012 – Equestrian Sport Productions held its Holiday Festival II competition this weekend on December 20-22, 2012, at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington FL. The competition featured a $25,000 Grand Prix, $10,000 Welcome Stake, and a full schedule of hunter, jumper and equitation classes. Jorge Verswyvel and Victoria Win $25,000 ESP Holiday II Grand Prix In the highlight event of the week on Saturday, 33 entries showed in the $25,000 ESP Holiday II Grand Prix jumping a course set by Catsy Cruz of Mexico

The show held a $10,000 Welcome Stake as well as a $25,000 Grand Prix as feature events in the International Arena over the weekend with Pierre Jolicoeur as the course designer.

(December 3, 2012) – The Dressage Foundation is proud to announce this year’s recipients of the Carol Lavell Gifted Memorial Fund Scholarships for Adult Amateurs. Each will receive a $1,000 Scholarship to enable them to set aside quality time in concentrated training with a horse they own, with a trainer of choice, away from the daily pressures of job and family. “Congratulations to these deserving Adult Amateurs for being selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship! Thanks to the generosity of Carol Lavell, her family, and friends, we are thrilled to provide this support,” said Jenny Johnson, Administrative Director of The Dressage Foundation. “We hope that each recipient will make the most of the concentrated training time that this scholarship will allow, and we look forward to hearing from each recipient about her experience.” Up to nine $1,000 grants are available each year (one per United States Dressage Federation Region). Additionally, two wild card grants are available, and can be awarded in any Region. The following Adult Amateurs were chosen as recipients from their respective USDF Regions to receive grants for training in the 2013 calendar year.

Angel Karolyi Begins New Partnership with $30,000 Raleigh Grand Prix Win

Raleigh, North Carolina – Competing in their first show together, Venezuela’s Angel Karolyi and Indiana 127 scored victory in the $30,000 Raleigh Grand Prix at the RMI Raleigh Benefit Horse Show held November 14 to 19 in Raleigh, North Carolina. 2008 Olympic course designer Steve Stephens whittled a large starting field of 26 entries down to four jump-off contenders in the Saturday night feature event. Karolyi had the advantage of being the last to go, having watched Sloan Coles post a clear round riding Chantilly while Tracy Magness and Regan Roberts both faulted
