Have you ever heard of the Florida Cracker Horse? If not, perhaps you’ve heard of the Seminole Pony, the Florida Cow Pony, or the Chickasaw Pony. The Florida Cracker horse goes by all of these names and originates from – you guessed it – Florida, USA.
In exactly one emotional whirlwind of a month, my life has undergone some tremendous changes. My long-term boyfriend successfully completed and graduated from one long year of intense Army pilot training-something that tested us but made our relationship stronger in the end. I also said goodbye to my lease horse, Bentley, and uprooted my life in small town Alabama to move back to Lexington, KY. I know I have mentioned Bentley in previous blogs but I’ve never fully explained how he came to be mine for one wonderful year and why I made the painful but necessary choice not to purchase him.
