Richmond, VA: September 2012 In a tribute to Veteran’s Day, our troops Equine Extravaganza, in partnership with Elizabeth Shatner, is proud to announce a true paring of ponies and patriotism. Elizabeth Shatner is more than just an extraordinary horsewomen, judge and trainer. Her passion for helping wounded veterans and their families has evolved into the creation of “All Glory Project” (TAGP), a nonprofit organization that emphasizes the healing power of horses through Equine Assisted Therapy.

The additional sizing is designed to accommodate riders who have a longer leg, and those riders who prefer a taller silhouette. SMU Mustangs MANHATTAN, Kan. (SMU) – The SMU equestrian team is off to the best start in school history, 3-0, after defeating Tennessee-Martin, 6-4, Saturday morning at Timbercreek Stables. “We are very pleased with our team after our first road trip of the season,” head coach Haley Schoolfield said.

Ladies Hat Day Alexandra Reid; winner of FEI Young Rider Test Dressage at Devon Day 4: Performance Classes September 28, 2012 (Devon, PA) Friday was the first full day of performance classes plus wonderful exhibitions by Aussie horseman Guy McLean and the Delaware Valley Combined Training Association Quadrille. “Remember Hope; this is your dream to do dressage at Devon,” said Guy McLean to his horse, Hope, explaining to the audience that following his performance last year they had a conversation that ended with a commitment by both horse and rider to perform dressage in the Dixon. Later on the Delaware Valley Combined Training Association (DVCTA) Quadrille team – the Quad Squad – performed “Think Pink,” sponsored by the Unionville Equine Associates of Oxford, PA. Their performance was comprised of a 13-horse team, which performed an inspirational, moving and upbeat medly of musical favorites

Introducing 5 year old, 16.2hh Thoroughbred gelding “Sky Tiger” who is available for adoption at the New Vocations’ Lexington, KY facility! Sky raced 11 times with 1 win, 1 second, and 1 third place finish. This son of Sky Mesa is the prince of our barn. He loves to be pampered and treated royally; he finds flies offensive, but tolerable, and likes to stay mostly clean.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I’m so excited to announce the equibarre fitness DVD has almost arrived and just in time to add to your holiday shopping list! We shot equibarre at the amazing facility in Ashland, Oregon Silver Spring Farm and had a blast doing so. Yes it was shot IN the indoor and my workout partners were a horse and rider! I’m really excited about the DVD going on sale next week

Saturday, September 1 , marked the end of houndwalking for Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds in Unionville, PA and what better way to bring the season to a close but an early evening ride out from the kennels followed by a covered-dish supper? Instead of meeting with the hounds at 7:00 AM, the “meet” was called for 5:00 PM.

Meet our handsome 4 year old, 16hh Thoroughbred gelding “Concorde’s Flight” who is now available for adoption from the New Vocations Marysville, OH facility! Concorde’s sire Trippi has stamped his son with a pretty head, smart eye, nice body and a sweet nature his offspring are known for. All of his offspring have also been easy to ride and handle and very quick to learn a new career. Concorde is no exception to the rule. He is an uncomplicated horse to ride for an intermediate level rider and is very willing and obedient. He is a light touch in the bridle and is actually a bit on the lazy side requiring leg to go forward
