Sidelines DOGon Cute Contest!

Wednesday, February 19 2014 by Editor
An example of a “cute photo” by Sidelines standards! This yellow pooch is over 15 years old! By Jan Westmark There’s one thing that the Sidelines staff loves almost as much as their horses – and that’s their dogs!! (And we have a feeling we’re not the only equestrians who feel that way!) So, in honor of our favorite canines, we are having our “Sidelines DOGon Cute Contest!” We invite you to share photos and videos of your favorite dogs for the chance to win some amazing prizes. Plus, everyone who enters will receive a free six-month subscription to Sidelines’ new digital edition – which features everything you love about print plus digital exclusive content, interactivity and video coverage of your favorite riders! You may enter ONE video/photo for each category – that’s four entries total

Plain Brown Wrapper

Saturday, February 08 2014 by Editor
Boyd Martin’s newest mount made a debut, of sorts, yesterday in the Open Intermediate Division at Pine Top Farm in Thomson, Georgia.  After watching the video that had been posted at Boyd Martin’s website  in December I was most interested to see Shamwari 4 in person.  He may come in a Plain Brown Wrapper but that label is anything but descriptive of what you will see.  The horse has that “It Factor”, charisma.  You WILL remember this horse when he goes by.  Already spectators are calling him by the most obvious nickname, you guessed it:  ShamWOW!
