It’s amazing how sometimes the smallest thing can totally change your perspective. With Palermo being my only horse, when he’s out of commission, I’m out of commission. I’m sure many of you can empathize with this! But a few weeks ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to ride! Really ride

Dear Supporters, It was 4:45 pm last Friday when we received a call. A kill facility had a 5 year old maltese that was set to be euthanized in the morning. At first we couldn’t believe why such a desirable breed wasn’t given any time to get adopted and then we found out

So it’s been a few days since my last post mainly due to the fact that Hurricane Sandy affected us rather badly for several days here in Virginia Beach. I am however pleased to report that all the horses stayed safe and warm and although had to spend a few days confined to their stalls, no major incidents occurred and the barn stayed watertight.
