IHSA On Saturday November 15th the IHSA team competed at the College of Charleston.Congrats to USCAiken IHSA riders for having an awesome show! All three teams of USCA Equestrian have been extremely busy! Check out what IHSA, Polo and Eventing have been up to! Eventing Paradise Farm HT Results Manon Quilodran and Orison-Training Level-3rd Marissa Collins and Carino-Training Level-4th Alexa Hamilton and Winston-Training Level-Withdrew after dressage (Alexa had the flu!) Sydney Bolton and High Cotton-Novice-5th Next up for the Eventing team is the Full Gallop Farm HT on November 2nd! Stable View HT Congrats to those competitors that competed in the Stable View Inaugural Horse Trials! None of brought home ribbions in our 40 person divisions but we all had a great time and learned a lot! Brendan Quinn Brendan had a great go in the Prelim Division with Smoke.

The USC Aiken Eventing team will be hosting a fundraising event! This is our first time doing something like this and we are hoping for a great turn out and many more in the future! When: Wednesday September 24th 2014 Time: 5:00 PM-10:00 PM Where: Sonic on Whiskey Road, Aiken SC All you need to do is simply say that you are there for the fundraiser when you make your order, the rest will be handled by your carhop. First Eventing Meeting The eventing team had their first meeting. The team got together for dinner at Mi Ranchos and we had a great turn out. We mostly focused our discussions on team challenges and tshirts.

The 2014-2015 year has officially begun! The team is already busy! The day before classes we had an equestrian club get together. This was an informal meeting just to get to know each other. Most of the students who attended were eventers, a few interested in IHSA attended as well.

The USCA eventing team had a great day at the August Full Gallop HT this past Sunday! We had four members riding and some other members came out to support! The team is still busy competing! Manon Quilodran and her gelding Orison competed at the Fair Hill August HT this weekend! Check them out with their USCA Eventing saddle pad! We have four members competing in the Full Gallop HT next weekend and we are all competing at different levels! We all have been working hard to prepare! Check out the members getting ready for the HT! Melissa Del Tufo and Ode to Calliope-Begginer Novice Melissa has been busy xc schooling, going to schooling shows and building jumps for practice! Keyanna Farken and She’s a Flirt-Novice Keyanna is a incoming freshman and this show she will be able to meet some of the current team members! Keyanna has been busy with many xc schoolings at full gallop! Marissa Collins and Carino-Training I have been busy with a few xc schoolings at full gallop and working on my jumping position. Brendan Quinn and Smoke-Prelim Brendan has also got in some xc schools! Practicing many big prelim questions to be prepared!

The first day of classes is closely approaching in a few weeks but members of the USC Aiken Eventing Team are still very active! Manon Quilodran competed at the Maryland HT at Loch Moy Farm II in Area 2 on July 18th. She competed her OTTB gelding, Orison, in one of the training divisions. The pair started the day with a 39.60 in dressage
