Busy Week for the USC Aiken Eventing Team

Tuesday, April 08 2014 by Editor
It is a busy and exciting week for the USC Aiken Eventing Team! This coming weekend we are participating in our first collegiate team challenge at FENCE horse trials! We can not believe it is finally here. The four riders are busy getting ready and I plan on attending as groom. I have already started packing! It should be a great weekend and can’t wait to meet the other teams.

This past weekend we had multiple riders compete at the Sporting Days HT! Brendan Quinn and Smoke rode in the Training Rider B division and placed 4th! Rebecca Beaudry and Jerry rode in the Training Rider B division and placed 5th! Manon Quilodran and Orison competed in their first training in the Rider B division! Alexa Hamilton and Winston did their second training in the Rider A division! Robin Oliver and Sky-walker did their first Begginger Novice recognized together! Heather Bartlett and Little Bit of Faith rode in the Novice Rider B division! I rode my Carino in the training rider A division and placed 3rd!   We have received two very generous anonymous  donations this past week! One was absolutely AMAZING saddle pads with our logo on them. We got one for every rider and we can not wait to use them at shows…especially our team challenge at FENCE in April! We also had a donation of $250 through our new gofundme.com account. We can not believe the about of generosity, support and kindness we have received from many people

A busy and successful week!

Wednesday, February 26 2014 by Editor
It has been a very busy week for USC Aiken Eventing. Many horse shows and meetings! We had an equestrian club meeting, a meeting for those going to Rolex, a meeting about the FENCE team challenge in April and a meeting with Stable View Farm! Good news is we are getting a lot done! Our meeting with Stable View was wonderful and we even got to catch a bit of Allison Springer’s rides on Copycat Chloe and Arthur! Stable View is very enthusiastic about helping USC Aiken Eventing as well as collegiate eventing! We had many riders competing this past weekend at Jumping Branch and Pine Top HT.
