Beezie Madden and Cortes ‘C’ Victorious in $125,000 FEI World Cup™ Qualifier Grand Prix, Presented by Spy Coast Farm

Wellington, FL – February 16, 2013 – Two-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist Beezie Madden and Abigail Wexner’s Cortes ‘C’ were victorious on Saturday night in the $125,000 FEI World Cup™ Qualifier Grand Prix, CSI 3*-W presented by Spy Coast Farm, during week six of the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF) in Wellington, FL. Madden beat out an impressive roster of top riders and finished in first place over Katie Dinan (USA) and Nougat du Vallet and Shane Sweetnam (IRL) aboard Amaretto d’Arco, who finished second and third respectively.

Katie Dinan and Glory Days Win $15,000 Artisan Farms Young Rider Grand Prix

Wellington, FL – February 15, 2013 – Nineteen-year-old Katie Dinan and her brand new horse Glory Days were victorious in Friday night’s $15,000 Artisan Farms Young Rider Grand Prix, presented by Dutta Corporation in association with Guido Klatte, during week six of the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF). In a nine-horse jump-off, Dinan and Glory Days won over Wilton Porter aboard Radio City and Adam Prudent riding Jack Daniels. Week six, sponsored by Spy Coast Farm , will run February 13-17.

In the highlight class of the day, an impressive roster of top riders vied for Longines FEI world ranking points in the $33,000 G&C Farm 1.45m Jumper Classic with a win for Todd Minikus of Loxahatchee, FL, and Quality Girl. Wellington, FL – February 11, 2013 – As the Florida Dressage Classic CDI-W presented by US P.R.E Association at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) begins this week, entries are up in both National and International competition. Due to the large number expected in the $20,000 FEI Grand Prix Freestyle, competition will begin at 7 p.m., with opening ceremonies at 6:45 p.m. As a special bonus for spectators on Friday night, special prizes will be handed out, so don’t miss all of the exciting competition! There are 24 entries in the $6,000 FEI Grand Prix on Thursday with some of the biggest names in dressage going for the win

Wellington, FL- February 10, 2013 - On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Der Dau was on hand to sponsor the first of six weeks of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Throughout each week of the season, Der Dau will honor the horse and rider combination with the highest Horse Gait and Rider Position scores for a division with the “Der Dau Dream Team Horse and Rider Award.” For the first week of the season, the award was presented in the FEI Young Horse Final for Five Year Olds. “We are excited to be a sponsor of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival,” said Joseph Der, President of Der Dau.

Wellington, FL – February 8, 2013 – Irish show jumper Shane Sweetnam is on a roll during week five of the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF) with a set of back to back wins in Friday’s $6,000 Spy Coast Farm 1.40m speed and jump-off classes to follow up a victory in Thursday’s $8,000 G&C Farm 1.45m Classic. All three wins were on Spy Coast Farm owned horses – the 1.45m aboard Everly Chin de la Pomme and Friday’s 1.40m speed aboard Cyklon 1083 and jump-off class riding Beluga.
