Calgary, Alberta – Overnight rain could not dampen the spirits of the competitors yesterday at Anderson Ranch for the second day of the Rocky Mountain Classic I tournament. Two hunters rings and three jumper rings, including the Grand Prix field, were all in full swing on a day that proved to be a little chillier than is normal for summertime in the Rocky Mountains. International Course Designer Werner Deeg (GER) set a spectacular course in the always impressive Wood Automotive Group Grand Prix field

Carson City, NV – August 5, 2013 - Historically, the number 21 is related to celebration, whether it is for a 21st birthday or dealing blackjack at a casino. At the $25,000 Franktown Meadows International Hunter Derby, located just outside Reno, NV, it was fitting to have 21 fabulous horse and rider combinations. Course designer and show manager Phil Devita exclaimed, “This was a perfect number for a standalone derby of this magnitude.” Each horse and rider combination attempted round one of 13 fences and 4 options set at 4’3″.

Adelinde Cornelissen and Jerich Parzival re-take world number one slot

Adelinde Cornelissen (NED) and the 16-year-old Jerich Parzival will be heading to the Blue Hors FEI European Dressage Championships, part of the ECCO FEI European Championships, in Herning (DEN) later this month as world number one. The Dutch rider and her striking chestnut KWPN gelding now lead the FEI World Dressage Rankings by 97 points, ahead of Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Dressage 2013 champions Helen Langehanenberg (GER) and Damon Hill NRW, who are in second place with 2,802 points

Ben Maher makes history one year on from Olympic glory

One year ago Ben Maher began his London 2012 Olympic campaign, jumping for the first time in the spectacular Greenwich arena as part of a team that would soon claim gold for Great Britain. Twelve months on to the day, Ben claimed his first victory in the historic Longines King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead, one of the oldest and most valuable Grands Prix in the country. The Essex-based rider had yet to win the class, also known as the British Grand Prix (with a €200,000 total prize fund), but it has always been one of his main aims

Lexington, KY – August 2, 2013 - Taylor Land is only in Kentucky for a few short days, but while here, she is enjoying the beautiful weather and making magic aboard Merlin. Land and Merlin were one of only two duos to go double clear in the Junior/Amateur-Owner High Jumpers before they earned the win today at the Kentucky Summer Classic.

Aaron Vale Pilots H&M Cisco to Win 1.40m Open Jumpers at Kentucky Summer Classic

Lexington, KY – July 31, 2013 - Although there were grey skies in the area for the second day of the Kentucky Summer Classic, the weather did not dampen the competition in the Rolex Stadium. Both the 1.40m and 1.35m Open Jumper classes were determined by just fractions of a second. As the last in the class, Aaron Vale had the draw on his side as he bested Juan Pablo Gaspar and Shamrock with H&M Cisco in the 1.40m Open Jumpers. In the 1.35m Open Jumpers, Geoffrey Case and Veneziano-C tried to catch Guillermo Williams and Marbella’s speedy time, but were just hundredths of a second short.

Bromont, Quebec – July 28, 2013 – The International Bromont ended this Sunday July 28th with Irishman Andrew Bourns’ stunning victory in the Quebec Original World Cup qualifying event, at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park.
