Angel Karolyi Begins New Partnership with $30,000 Raleigh Grand Prix Win

Raleigh, North Carolina – Competing in their first show together, Venezuela’s Angel Karolyi and Indiana 127 scored victory in the $30,000 Raleigh Grand Prix at the RMI Raleigh Benefit Horse Show held November 14 to 19 in Raleigh, North Carolina.   2008 Olympic course designer Steve Stephens whittled a large starting field of 26 entries down to four jump-off contenders in the Saturday night feature event.  Karolyi had the advantage of being the last to go, having watched Sloan Coles post a clear round riding Chantilly while Tracy Magness and Regan Roberts both faulted

Duke   Rescue of the Week from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control Duke is a 2-year-old male Flat-coated Retriever mix.  He is a charming and handsome guy who loves spending his days at the park, socializing with other dogs, and playing fetch.  He is housetrained and well-mannered.  His adoption fee is only $20 this month; please ask for ID#1620988. Liz Halliday begins Eventing season with victory at Tweseldown

  Professional dual sportswoman Liz Halliday began her 2012 Eventing season in perfect fashion last month (March 8th) with a thoroughly pleasing victory for Benny (Benaughlin Little Hero) capping an excellent day at Tweseldown. The British-based Californian attended the event with five horses of varying experience and was encouraged by their competitive performances and the strong results achieved across the classes. Most gratifying was a superb win for five-year-old Benny, who belied his lack of competition experience to triumph in the BE100 class
