Why a Standardbred?
Wednesday, December 05 2012
by Editor
Written by Dot Morgan (Executive Director) Standardbreds are quieter and more tolerant of mistakes than Thoroughbreds. These horses are accustomed to standing patiently in cross ties for hours and are satisfied to leave the premises alone. They have been bathed, shipped, and shod extensively and usually have exceptional ground manners

Brother Terry – Available For Adoption
Wednesday, November 14 2012
by Editor
We are pleased to introduce “Brother Terry” a 6 year old, 16.1 1/2hh Thoroughbred gelding now available for adoption at our Marysville, Ohio facility! Terry is more awesome in person then his pictures could ever depict. Big, flashy, and well proportioned with a great personality. What more could anyone ask for! This horse definitely gets everyone’s attention. He is a very sweet, gentle soul who is really looking for someone to be his leader and protector because he is timid by nature despite his size. Under saddle he is much braver with a good work ethic and always willing to try his hardest. He seems to enjoy working both inside and outside of the arena.
