Halifax, MA – May 11, 2013 – The time is quickly approaching for the long-awaited Fieldstone Spring Festival, the day when the Fieldstone Show Park will surely delight local, regional and national competitors to the newly improved show grounds. Twenty-seven years ago, the Fieldstone Show Park was built to accommodate one-day horse shows, but its demand and prestige has only continued to grow throughout the years, and after a well-deserved two-phase overhaul, the show grounds are sure to impress and bring in top competition during the Fieldstone Spring Festival

Okay, we have made it through an outstanding long weekend of Rolex Kentucky Three-day Event, presented Land Rover, and the equestrian triathlon did not disappoint. However, we’re in a bit of a tizz – first of all, Sidelines blogger and freelance photographer Beth Harpham is back in the hospital thanks – or no thanks – to that pesky pinched nerve in her back

William Fox-Pitt – Second Rolex Diary Welcoming a new member to the Fox-Pitt family [Congratulations on your new baby! How is she doing?] The big excitement at the end of October last year was definitely the arrival of Chloe Rose into the family! Luckily she waited to appear before I got back from Pau, so her timing was perfect. She’s now six month’s old and it’s like she’s always been here – she gets on really well with her two older brothers, and parents for that matter – we’ve been very lucky, she’s a good girl! Taking a break over the winter months [You had a bit of a winter break between November and January, how did you spend it?] The break I had between November and January was fairly baby focussed! Normally at that time of year we would have a holiday, Alice and I, but this year that wasn’t really going to be possible

A celebration and symposium of Thoroughbreds in Second Careers on April 26 presented by New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program and Retired Racehorse Training Project April 10, 2013 -Lexington Kentucky- This year’s Thoroughbreds For All event will offer dinner followed by a special presentation by The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program to recognize and award the 17 riders who will be competing at Rolex on registered Thoroughbreds. The rest of the evening will consist of educational and entertaining sessions about selecting and working with off-the-track Thoroughbreds

Wellington, FL – February 15, 2013 – The Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), continued today with two top classes for the Small Tour and Large Tour in the Florida Dressage Classic, CDI-W presented by the USPRE Association . The $3,000 FEI Prix St. Georges, sponsored by Havensafe Farm, saw the top two spots going to Christilot Boylen (CAN) riding Hudson 18 and Dio Mio, both owned by Windhaven Farm and Jill Irving.
