Saturday, March 08 2014 by Editor
Ocala, FL (March 7, 2014)  -  Never has an international-level equestrian competition in the Sunshine State offered so much for so many. The Live Oak International CAI/CSI-W 2*, March 19-23, at Live Oak Plantation, will provide spectators the chance to watch some of the sport’s most celebrated equestrian athletes. Top athletes entered to compete include 2012 British Olympic Team Gold Medalist Ben Maher, 2012 Olympic Bronze Medalist Cian O’Connor, Olympian McLain Ward, and 10-time National Four-in-Hand Champion Chester Weber. And if all that is not enough horse power, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be on display as well

How to Take Advantage of Winter Rides

Friday, February 28 2014 by Editor
Riding can be frustrating in the winter weather. Poor riding conditions like frozen footing or brutally cold temperatures can make rides unpleasant and limit the amount of work that we can do with our horses. Whether or not you are lucky enough to have a barn with an indoor arena , it is important to take advantage of all of the saddle time that you can get during the winter.

A busy and successful week!

Wednesday, February 26 2014 by Editor
It has been a very busy week for USC Aiken Eventing. Many horse shows and meetings! We had an equestrian club meeting, a meeting for those going to Rolex, a meeting about the FENCE team challenge in April and a meeting with Stable View Farm! Good news is we are getting a lot done! Our meeting with Stable View was wonderful and we even got to catch a bit of Allison Springer’s rides on Copycat Chloe and Arthur! Stable View is very enthusiastic about helping USC Aiken Eventing as well as collegiate eventing! We had many riders competing this past weekend at Jumping Branch and Pine Top HT.
